Brisbane Computational Design Group - An introduction

Scott Crichton of BVN & Bianca Toth of Woods Bagot recently introduced the Brisbane chapter of the Computational Design Group.

The meet up event was hosted in the BVN Brisbane studio with a crowd of 40+ enthusiasts turning up to listen to Scott & Bianca discuss some of their recent work, as well as opening discussion around future directions for the group.

Bianca presented recent projects from Woods Bagot that incorporate simulation into the design process, along with a current development initiative for a customisable building performance application that she is working on in collaboration with colleagues globally while Scott presented work that involves the use of computational design in conjunction with building information modelling, from inception through to the completion of projects.
