Charles Sturt University (CSU) proposes to further develop the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture at its Barton Campus. This proposal includes the construction a new meeting facility and the refurbishment of the Great Cross.
The proposed facility is a single storey building containing a single meeting room with support and ancillary spaces. It is approximately 200m2 of GFA. This building, known as the Pavilion, is located adjacent to the existing George Browning House and replaces the existing temporary facilities currently located on the site.
The Great Cross, which is approximately 25m tall, will be repainted and the water feature at its base repaired.
Together, these two projects are a further investment in the ACC&C by CSU and are the next step in its ongoing growth.
