Alondra Residences celebrates a connected Queensland lifestyle and enables its residents to participate in the activity of the building, the street and the neighbourhood.
The project dramatically opens up circulation spaces to the street, an action of openness and connectivity. Outdoor arrival spaces occur at every level, expressed as a “living canopy” of foliage forms, colours and verdant gardens. These incidental gathering spaces provide opportunities for relaxation and socialising, where residents can enjoy views, climate and landscape.
Stage One of the masterplanned urban village, Alondra addressed a future town square linked to the Luthern church and childcare. All 52 apartments are designed to Liveable Housing Design Guidelines Gold standard with extensive community spaces and gardens, compactly optimised over eight levels to offer residents choice in participation, aspect support and comfort.
