Bligh Voller Nield was the design architect for the consortium Hanoi International Stadium Group formed to design the new international stadium of Vietnam in Hanoi.

The consortium consists of Bligh Voller Nield, China Shanghai Group Corporation for Foreign Economic & Technological Cooperation Ltd (SFECO) and Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Group (SMAD).

The stadium consists of 40,000 seats around an international standard soccer field and athletics track. The design also incorporates corporate boxes, VIP facilities, basement carparking and players and officials facilities. A mezzanine level incorporates all media facilities. The project also includes a warm up and training track adjacent to the stadium.
