33 Charlotte Street
33 Charlotte Street is an inner city Brisbane office tower project for the State Government of Queensland. It consists of eighteen levels with fourteen typical office floors of 850m2 net lettable area.
The project was undertaken as a design and construct contract awarded to Barclay Mowlem who retained BVN to develop the design based on schematic documents prepared by Robin Gibson & Partners. BVN also delivered the first stage of this project, the neighbouring 32 level 111 George Street tower, in a similar process during 1992-1994.
At the time of development, the building was at the leading edge of CBD accommodation with advanced communication capabilities and environmental air conditioning.
