Ninotschka is the Victorian State Director. She has worked in Australia and overseas on a broad range of project types including residential, commercial, educational, public buildings, health, masterplanning and competitions. Ninotschka is considered an expert in workplace design and cultural change having led major projects informing current trends such as Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Melbourne and the Santos Headquarters, Adelaide.

Ninotschka’s particular strength is in client engagement, creative problem solving and navigating complex circumstances for clients whilst still achieving highly creative and innovative outcomes. She led the design for the bid stage of the environmentally sustainable $1 billion Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia’s largest health based PPP project and has also acted as a client advisor to the Victorian DH for a range of complex health projects. Most recently she was the Project Principal for The Academy, a world’s best practice learning environment, housed in the existing atrium at the National@Dockland.

Having delivered 5 and 6 star Green Star projects, including the award winning Goods Shed North interior fitout, Ninotschka is an invited speaker at GBCA events on Green Star design. She is also currently leading the intellectual exploration of parametric design and the exploration of alternative architectural vocabularies across the practice in the Vitruvius and in the Modus programmes within BVN.
